We take a walk from jekteviksbakken cruise terminal to the city. There are 2-3 different ways to go but we take you on the easiest, flattest route, into the city. Jekteviksbakken is the cruise terminal that accommodates the bigger cruise ships over 270m in length. Take a A nice 15 minute walk thats easy for those of you who have children and pushchairs or for those of you less mobile. We avoid the steep hill and instead take you past the National theatre, Blue stone and through Torgallmenningen the main shopping square. Although Bergen is a bright vibrant city with lots to see and do, it does have its hidden Gems on the edges of the city. Nordnes park being one of them. Just a 20 min walk out of the city, Nordnes park is a beautiful peaceful area with a fantastic viewing point of the North Sea. Definitely worth a walk out to get a break from the hustle and Bustle of daily life in Bergen. Remember to take a coffee and some of Bergens famous Skillingsboller with you, so you can re fill whilst taking in the beauty of Nordnes park.
