Skansen is a mini Version of Fløyen
The view of the city is very good, not as good as Fløyen, but well worth the 6 minute walk up..
If you visit in the winter time, there is a small water area where people often Ice skate.
Although its only a 6 minute walk from the Fløibanen entrance, be warned, it's pretty steep.
It's accessible from the left pathway that is beside the entrance to Fløibanen and it really is a nice place to just sit and take in Bergen. It's less touristy than Fløyen and is a little more peaceful. You will usually find locals here just relaxing or walking around. It's a little hidden gem right on the doorstep of Bergen City.
There are a few benches set up looking out to the beautiful views of the city of Bergen and the Fish Market area. Maybe stop and grab a sandwich or a coffee just before you take the walk up, to enjoy whilst looking out over Bergen.
