If you're visiting Bergen over the next few days, don't let the forecast put you off. This is classic Bergen weather – a mix of rain, cloud, the occasional sunny break, and plenty of fresh air. As we always say here: there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing!

Billy's Tip
If you're visiting Bergen this week, dress in layers. The weather can change several times during the day, and it's perfectly normal to experience sunshine, rain and blue skies all within an hour. A lightweight waterproof jacket is the one item you shouldn't leave your hotel without.
Despite the forecast, it's still a fantastic time to explore Bryggen, ride the Fløibanen, enjoy a fjord cruise or wander the city's cafés. After all, Bergen wouldn't be Bergen without a little rain!
