Fløibanen & Fløyen — Bergen’s Classic Viewpoint Adventure If there’s one experience that defines a visit to Bergen, it’s riding Fløibanen — the iconic funicular that climbs from the city centre up to Fløyen (320 m above sea level) in just ~6–8 minutes. Pincho Nation is a great spot right next to the entrance of the Fløibanen funicular. The food comes in small, tapas-style portions — everything I tried was full of flavour! The mini burgers and bao buns were especially tasty , so were the mini Fish and Chips— small, but packed with so much goodness.

Our stay at Stormhyttene Cabin South was nothing short of magical. Tucked right by the shoreline, the cabin offered a unique blend of raw nature and cozy comfort. On the night we stayed, a storm rolled in, and the wind whipped around the cabin. Instead of being unsettling, it only made the experience more special. Inside, the cabin was wonderfully warm and snug – the perfect contrast to the wild weather outside.

Last year we stayed overnight in the Cone at the top of the Fløibanen on mount Fløyen, in Bergen Norway.

I stayed overnight on Fløyen recently and these were the incredible views we had. Its 100% worth taking the Cable Car up to the top of mount Fløyen, as long as the weather isn't too cloudy. It needs to be visible to be worth the trip up. If it is visible, then the views truly are breathtaking. Heres a few images below.
