Our stay at Stormhyttene Cabin South was nothing short of magical. Tucked right by the shoreline, the cabin offered a unique blend of raw nature and cozy comfort. On the night we stayed, a storm rolled in, and the wind whipped around the cabin. Instead of being unsettling, it only made the experience more special. Inside, the cabin was wonderfully warm and snug – the perfect contrast to the wild weather outside.

One of the details I really appreciated was the thoughtful layout. The toilet and washroom were located just next to the cabin, making them both private and convenient. A wooden fence ran along one side of the property, creating a sense of seclusion that made it feel almost like our own little retreat. That touch of privacy, combined with the open views on the other side, struck the perfect balance.

And then there was the view – absolutely incredible. From the cabin, you look straight out at the sea. Whether in calm weather or during a storm, the scenery is dramatic, ever-changing, and endlessly captivating. Sitting inside, listening to the storm while watching waves crash against the shore, was an experience I won’t soon forget.

Stormhyttene Cabin South isn’t just a place to stay – it’s a place to truly experience the Norwegian coast in all its moods. For anyone seeking peace, privacy, and a connection with nature (without sacrificing comfort), I can’t recommend it enough.
